- Printed extra copies of the progress and renewal forms as handouts at the Trinity presentation

- Dropped in to Durbar at 10:30, many students, no teachers yet. Turns out they don’t arrive till 11:00 because this is exam period. Had fun playing some games and snapping pics with the kids.

- Presented at Trinity College. Went incredibly well. 70 class 11 students (who will be class 12 students in a few months) attended and over 50 signed up to be volunteers. With the help of teachers and some current class 12 students we whittled the list to 10. Held the interviews right then and there. Very impressed with the students. Filled out a form for each student interviewed. All seemed incredibly strong. Very encouraging.

- Had good chat with Ajit Lama, the coordinator of the A-Levels regarding Trinity partnering with NCEP for scholarships to our students wishing to pursue school beyond class 10. Trinity currently has several scholarships they offer, and he seemed open to the idea of working with us so we could “hand off” our students to them. Very encouraging again. I also raised the possibility of helping extend Trinitys network to Canada. As most of their students look to go abroad after graduation, they are looking for a presence in Canada, which they currently don’t have. He gave me some materials to distribute and I said I’d see what I can do. The more we can help each other the better.

- Revisited Durbar, had a brief meeting with the headmaster. Arranged to meet him, our primary contact Puspa, and any other teachers who currently work with our NCEP scholars at 11:30 am tomorrow. Should be a good meeting

- Trolled new road, bagbazar and dillibazar for office supplies, especially a filing cabinet. Found 2 drawer cabinets ranging from 10,000 NRS (150 CAD) to 6500 NRS (or 90 CAD). More than I’d like but there is no second-hand market here (all goods seem valued and kept forever or passed around among family and friends). This is essential to adding structure and organization to our operations here, so I plan to make the purchase with Raju after our Durbar visit tomorrow

- Sent followup email to our 10 potential field volunteers thanking them and asking for addresses so we could plot relative to our students.
